Games Affect Your Wagering Requirement Differently
Games don’t count equally towards your wagering requirement.
A game’s weighting percentage tells you what percentage of your stake is deducted from your wagering requirement. You can find these percentages in the casino’s T&Cs.
Here’s an example of what a casino’s T&Cs for game weighting percentages might look like:
As you can see, slots are 100% weighted. This means an amount equivalent to your entire stake is deducted from your wagering requirement with each spin. If you bet $10, your wagering requirement decreases by $10.
In this example, we can see that poker games are 4% weighted. So, if you bet $1 on poker, only $0.04 count towards the requirement.
Consequently, it will take much longer to wager a bonus on poker – and you’re much more likely to run out of bonus credits before you’ve met the wagering requirement.
